Why won't my light charge?

I haven't charged my light for a few months. I took it out today and plugged it into the USB port using a standard USB port extender. It flashed green momentarily then went dark. I checked it after a few minutes but there was no charge. I then plugged the USB into a iPad charger and the same thing happened.

Is there anything else I can do or do I need to replace the battery?

The light has never been dropped and I have not made any changes to the programming.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Lithium-Ion batteries can go bad if they're not recharged periodically. If you check your output voltage with a multimeter, you should be able to know if this has happened. The desired voltage is between 3.7 and 4.3 volts.
