Can Dazzle Replace the Blinky Mode in the Factory Settings?

Try as I might, I just can't understand the language enough to try to modify it myself. It seems like there'd be an easy way to do this, though. Would any kind soul out there be able to walk me through how to do it, or email me the code or .ino file? I appreciate your help!

The code here is much clearer than the originals; I'd take something like tactical and modify it.

If you really want to modify the original code, I've translated the original set of programs to the library.

That does include a translation of dazzle, so you could easily replace tactical's disorientation strobe with dazzle.

If you need any further help, just post or jump on IRC :)

Thanks for all your help!

Just made a slight adaptation to the tactical code and uploaded it to my light.

Switched the order to glow > medium > high, and hold brings up the strobe.

I actually find I normally need only the faintest glow, particularly for digging around in my tent or bedroom, or something like that, so it is nice to have just a glow as the first setting.
