Remove the watertight rubber button cover from the rear of your HexBright LED Light.

  • Holding the outer case firmly in one hand, twist the nut on the rear of the HexBright counterclockwise.

Image 1/2: Slide the interior frame out of the HexBright. Image 2/2: Slide the interior frame out of the HexBright.

  • Continue twisting until the threads on the interior frame twist free from the outer case.

  • Slide the interior frame out of the HexBright.

Edit Step 3 Battery Removal  ¶ 

Image 1/1: The battery is held in place by a plastic shim, and this shim will dislodge when the battery is knocked out of the frame.

  • In order to remove the battery from the interior frame of the HexBright, you will be knocking the interior frame firmly against your palm.

    • The battery is held in place by a plastic shim, and this shim will dislodge when the battery is knocked out of the frame.

Image 1/3: If the battery does not come out at first, try knocking a bit more vigorously. Image 2/3: Do your best to catch the battery and plastic shim as they fall out. Image 3/3: Do your best to catch the battery and plastic shim as they fall out.

  • Holding the interior frame from the side nearest the positive side of the battery, knock the opposite end of the interior frame sharply against the palm of your hand.

    • If the battery does not come out at first, try knocking a bit more vigorously.

  • Do your best to catch the battery and plastic shim as they fall out.

  • Firmly grasping the interior frame in one hand, twist the rear nut counterclockwise to unscrew it from the internal frame.

  • Remove the rear nut from the interior frame.

  • Remove the rubber button cover from the interior frame.
