Introduction

Remove the LED Board from your HexBright LED Light.

Step 1 Interior Frame

Holding the outer case firmly in one hand, twist the nut on the rear of the HexBright counterclockwise.

Step 2

Continue twisting until the threads on the interior frame twist free from the outer case.

Slide the interior frame out of the HexBright.

Step 3 Battery Removal

In order to remove the battery from the interior frame of the HexBright, you will be knocking the interior frame firmly against your palm.

- The battery is held in place by a plastic shim, and this shim will dislodge when the battery is knocked out of the frame.

Step 4

Holding the interior frame from the side nearest the positive side of the battery, knock the opposite end of the interior frame sharply against the palm of your hand.

If the battery does not come out at first, try knocking a bit more vigorously.

Do your best to catch the battery and plastic shim as they fall out.

Step 5 Desoldering the LED Leads

Desolder the two LED power wire connections.

Step 6 LED Board

Remove three 6 mm Phillips #1 screws securing the LED board to the interior frame.

Step 7

Carefully pull the LED board off of the interior frame, making sure that the LED leads pass through the hole in the LED plate.
