When and Where will Hardware Documentation be Availabe

I have been working on some custom firmware, and I would like to better understand the charging circuit interface with the Atmega. When can we expect the electrical design to be posted? Some of us may have some features to contribute back to all the lucky Hexbright users.

I am specifically interested in what data is coming in on pin 3 (APIN_CHARGE).

Answer this question I have this problem too

http://tinyurl.com/hbfdc has the best hardware documentation so far. It's not formatted. Ideally, we'd have all this in a wiki, but we're just not there yet.

APIN_CHARGE only seems to give me about 2 values - somewhere in the range of 6-9 when the light is charging and something over 1000 when the battery is fully charged. I was hoping to get values corresponding to the charge % of the battery right from this pin, but that doesn't seem to be the way it works (as far as I can tell). I might be wrong. I haven't done a lot of testing.

That is correct. The charge controller (the actual IC) only has 3 states: not charging, charging, done charging. There is no actual battery level monitoring - you would have to wire something up in the hardware.
